Koby is happy to be returning to imagination land for his second year with UBCI. He’s always enjoyed participating in low stress comedic activities such as improv, and is constantly thrilled by its lack of required preparation or excessive effort. He also appreciates the absence of serious concern or real-life stakes within improv, seizing this opportunity to do things that would typically be considered ludicrous in a university setting.
My father was slaughtered by a six-fingered man. He was a great swordmaker. When the six-fingered man appeared and requested a special sword, my father took the job. He slaved a year before it was done. The six-fingered man returned and demanded it, but at one tenth his promised price. My father refused. Without a word, the six-fingered man slashed him through the heart. I loved my father. So naturally, I challenged his murderer to a duel. I failed. The six-fingered man left me alive, but he gave me these (shows scars). I was eleven years old. And when I was strong enough, I dedicated my life to the study of fencing. So the next time we meet, I will not fail. I will go up to the six-fingered man and say, "Hello. My name is Issa Braithwaite. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Writing this bio reminds me of the one time I had to write comments for myself for High School Graduation Commencements and I just gave up and wrote something totally generic and boring. My point is I suck at these. Sorry.
Emma is like a mason jar: hip yet practical.
A sharp shooter, quick on her feet and not to be trifled with! Oh she’s fiery alright. *whistles* But as sweet as a kitten on the fourth of July if you ask me. He said, rocking in the rocking chair we provided him for this interview.
Austrian-born muscleman Aileen Moroney had appeared in a couple of films before she gave up competitive body-building. She was impressive as a fiddle playing body-builder in Stay Hungry but after winning her final “Mrs. Olympia” title, in the documentary Pumping Iron, she turned to acting full-time. In her best film, The Terminator, she plays an evil killing machine with no human side (except for a wicked sense of humour). It would have been easy to laugh at this hunk with a thick accent and a body that, as Danny Devito says in Twins looks like it is about “to explode”, but she has been a surprisingly competent actor and an exciting screen presence.
Zach was born in Saskatoon, but he doesn't live there anymore. Sometimes people spell his name with a "k", even though it's spelled with an "h". Zach is happy that he made it onto UBC Improv. He didn't join the club last year, but this year he did.
When he's not improvising, Jon enjoys being retweeted. @JonParnell.
If you have any fast facts about megalodons this guy is interested <--
